A rare tea from high up in Zhejiang province.

Cui Jian is picked as early in spring as possible, just after the buds have begun to sprout. Creating this tea is incredibly labour intensive as each single, small bud is picked carefully by hand.

The leaves are a stunning glossy green, some covered in a golden down. They produce a wonderfully delicate cup, with an amazing flavour.

A deep grassy beginning is finished off with rounded floral notes. The tannins are so soft they play a minimal role in this tea, leaving a delicate tea with great flavour.

Brewing

Take one tsp of Cui Jian per cup and add water at 80 degrees C.
Infuse for 2 to 3 mins+
